Robin Reynolds 2016 Visscher Redrawn returning to London!

Galleria Balmain's first solo artist London exhibition. Robin Reynolds 2016 'Visscher Redrawn'

It’s a great pleasure to announce Galleria Balmain’s first solo artist exhibition, Robins 2016 London panorama ‘Visscher Redrawn,’ already making it’s way back to London. Where the inaugural exhibition venue and date will be announced quite soon.

Robin’s 2016 ‘Visscher Redrawn’.

Along side Robins pen and ink drawing and to be exhibited together, is a full size print of the original copper plate engraving of Claus Janz Visschers 1616 London panorama. Both artworks are views north across the Thames to the City of London from Southwark Cathedral. Robins incredible eye for detail and drawing corrects the scale of the cityscape which Visscher’s engraving did not.

Also and part of Robins exacting panorama drawing, is an amazing Shakespeare puzzle, woven into clues throughout the drawing to add to the fascination!
