Really enjoyed seeing some wonderful contemporary art at Fusion Art Fair held at NEAC Stoneleigh. And Tedward did to!
Activities at the fair!
Fusion had delivered an excellent package for art fair goers, with interactive workshops, live demonstrations. A mini canvas sale in aid of Lifespace trust gave all proceeds to charity, a great effort by the attending artists. The ample seating and restaurant made the whole event very comfortable.
Great to meet the artists.
Monica Cuellar’s dazzling and stylized olive trees were a fab use of colour, texture and a refreshing take on the subject matter to. The detail Monica creates, makes her art come immediately alive.
The expression Monica gets into her work is a unique talent.
More wonderful art!
Sarah Burtons wistful and romantic abstracts were certainly an echo of her background in sculpture and something we especially enjoyed. This striking exhibition was definitely worth the visit alone and Sarah was in very good company throughout.
Against the tide. acrylic on canvas.
We were not disappointed!
Phoebe Heathcote’s lino print making was a great departure from the whole fair. The retro architectural subjects were exactly right for collectors.
Artist Jenny Green wowed us again with some exquisite artwork that really inspired. The imagery is almost of lost forests, and the artists colour choice brings drama and great presence to.
Jenny Green’s forests and colorway’s had us mesmerized with their beauty and tranquility. This exhibition was another highlight in an afternoon of absolute quality art.
Zaza Lewis’s exhibition of 3 dimensional art was both intriguing and incredibly tactile to look at. Zaza works with Mixed media and textile to create something quite incredible. Sorry to say my images do not do them justice…they have to be seen!
Zaza Lewis, mixed media and textile artwork.
We must mention the fabulous Lagarto studio watercolours, these were so life like, you felt like you could just dive in! Tedward would have!
Tedward enjoying the Fusion art fair…adorable we know, useless with a paint brush!
