Artist Bio: Theo van de Goor ( born 02-07-1954, Sevenum, the Netherlands) I live and work in the city of Eindhoven. I grew up on a farm in a small , Roman Catholic village in the south of the Netherlands Ever Since my childhood I have been drawing and I knew that this would be my life. I make drawings, paintings, etchings and small sculptures. My work is predominantly figurative. I like to tell a story. My themes are from the Bible (angels, devils, and saints), Greek mythology . I also like to draw animals (f.i.: the story of Reynard the Fox) I paint still lifes and landscapes. (plein air) Study: 1976-1978 / Jan van Eyck academy, Maastricht.
