Galleria Balmain is pleased to announce the debut Artist, Amy-jo Madria, a British expatriate artist living & drawing in the quaint Catalan town of Mont-roig, the town famous for it's artist Joan Miró.

It wasn't till February 2020 when the pandemic started, allowing Amy the luxury of time and the opportunity to pick up a pencil again and begin creating for the first time since childhood. It has been worth the wait, and Amy's first exhibition with us focuses on the beauty of time and elderly faces to create the most intricate and detailed realism portraits.

This artistic technical skill is just part of a delicate & meticulous approach to realism portraits that takes from around 170 hours for the finished work to appear, each line embodies time, skill and effort.
