Eleanor Wolper is an Artist from New York, USA. and grew up in the Lower East side.
And attended the Fashion Industries High School, Fashion Institute of Technology, Brooklyn Museum Print Making, Greenwich House Pottery and Hunter College (studying fine art and art history) 'I started my education at the Fashion Institute of Technology as a Textile design Major. While there I apprenticed as a textile company and won a prestigeous design award. I had always painted and at this time I'm specializing in watercolours. I also design and print my Art on fabrics, leather and glass and use these designs to create clothing, accessories and home decor.
As an Artist I define myself as in love with colour and the Abstract and enjoy working in many mediums such as stone sculpture, silk screen printing and water colour painting. She has also worked in pen and ink, clay and large scale acrylics in addition to watercolors. She has also woven on hand looms, done silk screens, and carved in wood and stone.
Ms. Wolper has had two one woman shows in New York City.
