Stefania Laccu is an Italian artist, who lives and works in Leicester.

She has obtained her bachelor’s degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence and her master’s degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. Stefania is active in the arts and in the academia, exhibiting her work nationally and internationally, publishing academic articles, being an artist in residency and a visiting researcher.

Currently, Stefania is undertaking a doctoral research (PhD) at De Montfort University, Leicester. Her research is practice-based across the fields of painting’s medium, aesthetics, embodied cognition and medical humanities.
