Wendy ThompsonBack to artists
Wendy is a quintessential English artist; she continually inspires others by her originality, creativity and quality. Passion, energy and her love of art appeals to every human emotion.
Her childhood and family roots are in the North East of England, her values stem from an industrial and hard working upbringing. Her first sketch was at 9 years old, whilst listening to the radio translating the broadcast to a drawing called the 'Evolution of Man.' She now lives amidst the natural beauty of the Cotswolds; where she shares her life with her family and grandson Louis. The natural beauty of the landscape, wildlife and livestock is a constant creative source for much of Wendy's work.
Today, her life is enriched with exceptional creative influence, brightening the lives around her. Wendy invests in the social community, thinking of others before herself, sharing her visionary values and learning.
Her favourite quote was by Marcus Aurelius:
'Natural ability without education has more often raised a man to glory and virtue than education without natural ability'
Wendy's own natural ability and credentials reach many, including government MPs, the recent Governor of the Bank of England, Lord Mervyn King and HRH Prince Charles and Camilla, making Wendy an artist you are able to invest in for the future.
