Description

This is a study of still life.

It is done in one sitting. In one afternoon.

I like to capture the light.

Fruits are inspiring to use as a theme for their shape and colour.

Here there is the lively contrast of blue and yellow between the bowl and the citrons.

In general, I chose to work in oils, because it is a versatile medium.

It stays “wet” for quite some time and it can be applied in many ways.

It is not easy to master, but then there it gives the possibility to “struggle” and discover

all the many ways in which an image can find a shape.
