Original Artwork. Original painting and the first of a series with a religious theme. The main difference from my other portraits is the materials I have used. In fact, acrylics allowed me to create a deep and intense final effect. With a short drying time, I was able to create a wavy effect with different types of brushes, ranging from the white to the black, through different tones of greys. Particular attention was dedicated to the gaze in the eyes, creating a dull and foggy glance, in which the last breath of life seems to come out.
