Exclusive Art Photography. The whole series is called « Dressage » (Piaffe, Passage, Flying Change, Pirouette and Half-Pass) because all the horses presented in this series are international athletes in Dressage. The thing is that horse is one of the most famous animal in art, from the very prehistoric time on the walls of the caverns to the XXIst century. However, it represents strength, power and domination but in fact, it’s a very sensitive and fragile animal. I wanted this series to be a resume from the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius to the actual horse we can admire in a sports arena. Decades go by but the very few horses who became famous are real legends. I know these legends won’t last because of their living conditions and I wanted them to find a place in the pantheon of horses.
